Gloucester Old Spots

           Gloucester Old Spot Pigs (pronounced glosster) aka Gos aka Old Spots aka the Orchard pigs are a very old breed from England. They are well known for their extremely docile temperament  and are amazing mothers. These are far and away my favorite breed they are an absolute joy to be around!

KuneKunes

KuneKunes have become a very popular homestead breed in recent years. They are known for their sweet personalities and their adorable wattles. A lard breed specifically, Kunekunes are known as a "Slow Grow" pork sometimes taking up to 18 months to reach 200 lbs.

BoingBoing is a registered boar from wonderful breeders at Jackson Piggery. He was born with stripes but Kune stripes do fade over time he is a dark chocolate now.

Mamasow is a beautiful sow from Quinn farms! She was even our house piggy until she got too big and flipped the couch over looking for a piece of food that rolled under lol  She is a great mom and one of our absolute favorites here at HappyQuack Farms!

Petunia came from a nice family that was moving their homestead to Idaho. She has been a great sow and a sweet momma to many babies here.

Rosie came to us with Petunia. She is Petunias daughter and is an amazing momma. Doesnt she have the greatest Smile!

Pippin is a registered Tonganui boar from the folks at Cottonwood Croft! We’re super excited to have their bloodlines here finally! He’s a total live bug who loves to give about kisses every time I am out there ❤️

Sow

Piper is a Tapeka gilt from Cottonwood Croft. We are super excited to add this bloodline to our Kune herd!  She’s very sweet and very chill.

Hazel is a super sweet gilt from the folks at Quinn Farms. Their Kune pigs are always sweet and they have larger bloodlines so we are excited to see what she will do for our breeding program here!

American Guinea Hogs

American Guinea Hogs or AGH are a great starter pig for any homestead. They have sweet temperaments and don't get huge. They usually end up between 250-450lbs. Specifically a lard breed, AGH are known as "Slow Grow" pigs meaning they generally take up to a year or more to reach desired weight.

Morticia came from a family who didn't know much about pigs so she was almost feral when we brought her home. She has come a long way and is now one of my sweetest sows!

Bocephus is a huge AGH boar! He weighs in at over 400lbs! Hes such a pretty boy!

Sow

Loretta is a gorgeous sow. She is on the smaller end around 225-240 lbs but she has great litters.
